Reflections From Our Charter Basileus

Each year, we have an opportunity to revitalize our chapter. As we reflect on where we have been and reacquaint ourselves with our history, let each of us draw upon our inner strength so that who we are is defined by us rather than by others. Each of us symbolizes all that we wish to accomplish in our lives. If we expect nothing or fail to bring our talents, creativity, and skills to the table, there can be no growth. When we come together with the common bond of being our sisters’ keeper, we learn the true meaning of SISTERHOOD.
As we envision tomorrow and the tomorrows that follow, let us remember that the power to shape the future is earned through persistence. No other quality is as essential to success. Persistence is like sandpaper that wears down all resistance and sweeps away all obstacles. It is the ability to move mountains one piece at a time.
SISTERHOOD IS POWERFUL.
